[Have a view of the ceiling of T'Pol's room. It's a normal looking ceiling. Then there's some brown fur visible, and a few shuffling noises. T'Pol woke up as a sehlat and was trying to check the network for info.

And, you know, since sehlat's are bearcats with six inch fangs, she's having some serious freaking difficulty.

She figured a video would be a good way to communicate, but T'Pol's got the majorly screwed end of the stick. No talking. No Disney magic. Just T'Pol staring at her PADD and opening her mouth - which really just makes those SIX INCH FANGS a lot scarier because now there's a mouth that can EAT PEOPLE - only to find that talking is a no go. It's leading to some upsetting growling.

So she's just going to lineface before trying to shut the feed without breaking the PADD. It takes several tries.]

[She is trying to balance on two legs and hit the door button. It's going badly. So have a grunty/growly thing that's almost frustrated. Almost. :|]

[But really it takes like five minutes for him to work up the courage to go next door and face the bearcat by opening the door for her.]

[That is not 'be right there,' Trip. :| She started pacing, but once she hears him outside, she backs away from the door. Even sat down to be less bearcat scary.]

[She stopped in the doorway, looking up at him. T'Pol's just trying to figure out what to do about this raging appetite deal. Maybe he'll figure it out if she just. Stares long enough at him.]

[You know. That's a pretty terrible plan. Because he doesn't understand what bearcat staring means.]

"Or not." [Sigh] "You gotta give me some kinda sign what you want."

[It means you look good enough to eat. :| She turns in a circle, looking for some way to communicate. She's got nothing. So this will get awkward. NOTE HOW UNCOMFORTABLE SHE LOOKS. For. A sehlat. :| T'Pol just gets on her hind legs and very carefully touches his stomach with one paw before dropping back down again.]

[You know, uncomfortable for a sehlat mostly just meant, well this big bearcat looks irritated and that's not really much different than your normal Vulcan face.]

"So you're either hungry or you want to wrestle. And I'm going to say no to the latter but I really don't know what you eat."

[...Wrestle. Trip. What. :| He's just getting a narrow eyed, tight lip look. Except that those fangs stick out, so it isn't all that tight lipped.]

[Dogs jump on people when they want to play. He assumes bearcats are the same. He stares back at her for a few moments.]

"You better not want to eat people, T'Pol."

[Bearcats are not dogs. :| And T'Pol snorts, but it sounds kind of like a growl and was meant to be like a huff. Oops. She tries turning her back on him for a moment. That's a no. IF ONLY SHE KNEW MORSE CODE.]

[That would make everyone's life easier. She turns around to give him another Look before exhaling slowly - which still sounds somehow threatening - and bobbing her head in a sort of nod. Fine, Trip. Fine.]
