[Someone who looks very much like T'Pol is sitting in T'Pol's room. But she's also a hell of a lot more poised than T'Pol, and much more in control of her emotions. There isn't even a hint on her face of what she (totally isn't) feeling.]

This isn't quite what I expected, when my daughter said she was pursuing a Starfleet posting. A penal ship, in unknown space. [Her eyebrow twitches upwards for all of two seconds. That's about as much commentary as she has.]

I understand she's already graduated an inmate. Mister Snape, I would like to speak to you.

And Mister Wilson [Paaause] if you are awake, I would like to speak to you as well.

I would like to know how T'Pol has been fairing. [Meaning she saw her hippie post about growing long hair and being happy to help people and what is that shit.]

She's informative and presents herself well during difficult situations, as well as provides a sturdy and necessary presence. [Vulcan compliments go!]

I believe she's a wise young woman who's face a number of difficult challenges. She's fared better than one can expect [Though not perfectly.]

And she was your warden the entire time?

That's correct.

Why has she not left? It is my understanding that most wardens spend a good deal of time on one inmate to achieve a deal, and depart.

I expect that's something you'll have to take up with her.

We aren't close, and until recently - that is, more than a year since I became a warden, myself - I knew very little about her personally.

I see. I was under the impression that wardens and inmates held a closer relationship than that.

If you don't know her well, then there is little else to ask.

Typically, they do. However, she is not the easiest person to get on with - and neither am I.

Given how many human attributes she's absorbed, I assumed she would be very easy for humans to be around. [Hard to tell, but there may be the tiniest hint of disapproval, there.]

T'Pol is a competent warden and regardless of any other personal feelings I may have about her, I respect her and have nothing negative to say in regards to her.

If that is a direct result of her absorption of human attributes, there are a fair few actual humans here who might stand to take a lesson from her.
