Oh, that's actually not completely unheard of. But, uh, yeah, normally burning the body will prevent that.

Sometimes not every piece of the body is burned. A lock of hair missed can be enough for a spirit to manifest.

You just have to find the right people to be open-minded with. I've met plenty of people who aren't.
