Psychology has never been an area of study I have pursued, but I find myself curious. It's my understanding that hostility towards the opposite sex can be caused by a suppressed affection for one's own sex. For example, I witnessed Castiel leaving Dean's cabin early this morning. Given the latter's abrasive behavior, the possibility seems an interesting one. Would anyone with experience in this area be able to recommend further reading on the subject?
