It would seem the Admiral saw fit to bring me here at an inconvenient time. Now that the drones 'Borg' have been dealt with, it would seem appropriate to introduce myself. I am Commander T'Pol, formerly of the USS Enterprise.

[A short pause] The NX-01 Enterprise.

I am a new warden here. I [am not looking forward to this at all; pausing] am sure I will become familiar with some of you over the course of our stay.

*There's a little pause before T'Pol opens the door, arching an eyebrow at the Doctor and his...companion.*

'The Doctor,' I presume.

[Grinning, he sticks out a hand for her to shake.]

*She glances at his hand, but that's the only attention she gives it. Pft, handshakes. Everyone should get a gift of a Vulcan biology book. When she speaks, it's dryly.* A pleasure.

[No handshake? Sadface. Ah wells. The Doctor reaches back into his pockets and pulls out a small white bag. Opening the bag, he pulls out a small, red candy.] Here you go. It's a jelly baby. Go on, eat it.

*Blink. Blinkblink. She isn't getting out of this, is she? With a quiet exhalation that may as well have been a sigh, T'Pol presses her lips together tightly. She still didn't like the idea of touching her food, but held out her hand for it.*

[And he dropped a jelly baby into her hand.] Go on! Eat it.

*A little hesitation (oh God touching her food), and she did as asked, chewing slowly. When she swallowed, she pursed her lips slightly.* It's sweet. *Crazy humans and their sweet tooth.*

Sweet and delicious! [The Doctor ate one himself. Chewing, he offered the bag to T'Pol.] Do you want another?

*Shakes her head* No, thank you. I'm not - predisposed to sweets.

[SADFACE.] Really? Ah well, more for me then.

[He gestures towards the mechanical dog with him.] This is K-9, by the way.

*SHE'S SORRY* Enjoy.

*AND she's arching an eyebrow.* ...I see. Strange breed. *That might have been a joke.*

[Aand now K-9's talking in a robotic, tinny voice.] I am not any type of 'breed', Mistress T'Pol. I am a robot. More specifically the K-9 Mark II, built by the Doctor as the previous version-

[The Doctor rolls his eyes and interrupts the dog.] K-9, shut up.

*Oh, she likes K-9. Can she borrow him? They'll have fascinating conversations.* Interesting.

[If the Doctor were to listen to a conversation between T'Pol and K-9, his brain would explode.] So, do you have any questions about the Barge?

*But they would be so wonderfully interesting.* I'm awaiting assignment to an inmate. Until I have one, I doubt I'll have many questions.
