[Very early in the morning, T'Pol's PADD clicks on. For a moment, there's just the ceiling of her dark room; then there's an odd little meow, and a cat pops in, far too close to the camera. It's curious. WHAT ARE YOU, PADD? It meows again, though it sounds a lot more like a chirp, and then there's a tiny paw that looks kind of like a huge paw scraping the screen. He starts making all kinds of noises, and before it gets too annoying, there's some shuffling in the background, and T'Pol's blue pajama'd legs come into sight for a few seconds, scaring off the kitten before the camera clicks off.

When it comes back on, T'Pol's still in her pajamas, and holding a very tiny Egyptian Mau in one hand. He's looking at her and the camera curiously, legs waving around, since she's holding him from underneath.]

Has anyone lost a feline? [There is all kinds of lineface in this question, because she has no idea how it got in her quarters.]

[And now he's waving a paw at the screen. The Borg Queen looks interesting enough to poke at.]

It is not mine. [Or so she thinks. :|] I doubt it's meant to be productive.

Talking around a cat batting its paw at the screen is a frustrating business.

"Abandon it."

[Those things attached to her head look perfect for teething. The cat's interested in testing out its theory.] It would likely perish.

Damn it, cat... And you are the most adorable, preciously fragile thing.

It's a shame this is completely lost on the Borg Queen, really.

"It is attempting to devour the screen."

I believe curiosity is a particular trait in felines. [A real pity. The cat is reason number three the Queen is never coming into her room.]

"It is chaotic. Make it obey."

Translation: Stop doing random things, cat. You make me feel uneasy. >:|

It's clearly untrained. [She pauses to get both hands on it, but now he's distracted with attacking her. Clearly it thinks they're playing. T'Pol is not amused.]

"Do not place it in my care."

This is where the Queen probably shuts off communication. Strangely, T'Pol seems to have accidentally found something capable of unsettling her inmate. Nature's living embodiment of chaos.
