[So spending a weekend with Trip would usually be a good thing. It was probably on her general list of things to do for the near future. But doing so after being stabbed in the heart with a pointed stick really wasn't how she planned it going down. She's pretty much missed all of the craziness that went on. So this is most definitely not video, and most definitely confused.

Not the most fun thing in the world to be doing right now. She really, really needs to meditate, but has the inkling that Trip would take being kicked out so she can do that the wrong way. So she's just going to sit on her bunk. Derp. Now what.]

I take it you encountered Captain Kirk.

[And now is as good a time as any for Trip to meet Khoteth. The cat has wandered out to inspect this person who's been in his space for a few days. Cause really, this is all his. He has that cat mentality in spaces. Trip is getting sniffed. Any sudden moves and Khoteth will bolt to the other side of the room.]

Considering we spent the weekend here, when others were suffering, it seemed fairly obvious.

[That's okay with Trip. Who'd want to disturb the cute little guy anyway? He'll just go back to petting him. It's kind of helping with the whole "I was under the influence of god only knows what and lots of people died" thing. Kind of.]

[Cats are good for that. It's why she likes having him around. T'Pol's just shifting closer to them both so she can scratch under Khoteth's chin.]

His temperament has been agreeable. If overly curious. [And she's just glancing at Trip cause. Man. They should probably get showered and go see what they can do, huh.]

[Trip shrugs, which is... kind of a small feat considering the way he's positioned himself with the cat and everything.] That's cats for you.

... Guess we should go figure out what's goin' on. [Because yeah, Starfleet officers should be trying to do damage control, not napping. Even if there's a cat sitting on them.]

[It's not like they have experience with cats, right. T'Pol nods, and picks up the cat, tucking him under her arm, and against her side. He may have clawed at Trip's sweats on the way up, but she puts him on a little cat bed in the corner without much problem.]

Yes, we should. [She just grabs her PADD and sorts through a few posts.] It seems that a good deal has happened. [She glances at him over her shoulder.] Do you need to shower?
