[So spending a weekend with Trip would usually be a good thing. It was probably on her general list of things to do for the near future. But doing so after being stabbed in the heart with a pointed stick really wasn't how she planned it going down. She's pretty much missed all of the craziness that went on. So this is most definitely not video, and most definitely confused.

[That's okay, Trip likes animals for the most part, especially if they're not trying to eat him, wreck up his engines or whatever other horrible catastrophes they've encountered. You know how it is. He just grins sleepily and reaches up to try scratching his ears.]

[Khoteth is doing that head ducking WHY IS A HUGE HAND COMING TOWARD ME THING but then he starts purring, because scratching is totally his thing. He digs it. T'Pol just. Wrinkles her nose very, very slightly.]

It was not an easy living situation.

[D'aww, kitty. Trip's just going to keep scratching your ears, propping himself up on his side to keep petting him. Apparently he got his hands on some sweatpants or something, but no shirt.]

What's his name? Is it a him?

[Sweatpants are pretty important. And the cat, who's really still a kitten, is jumping up on the bed and rubbing his cheek on Trip's shoulder. Claimed. No one else can have him now.]

He's male. I decided to call him Khoteth. [Hard freaking decision, too. And she's just going to watch him jump up on Trip's side. Khoteth has all the ridiculous, potentially dangerous curiosity his kind have.]
