Once, during Enterprise's mission, we encountered a class IV black hole, in a trinary star system. We spent some time exploring it; we did not realize that it gave off a particular kind of radiation. Within two days the rest of the crew began to behave uncharacteristically. [Pointed. Freaking. Look.]
I've been spending some time in the lab, scanning for any possible radiation from spacial anomalies, but I've found nothing thus far. Neither have I found any air contaminants. As we have no actual hierarchy on this ship, [AND SHE DOES NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL] there is little else I can do at this point, save propose that this be treated as a medical emergency. Something is clearly wrong aboard this vessel, and finding its cause before we are surprised with a port where there is a greater risk of uncontrollable 'infection,' should be a necessity.

Personal log, March 16th.
My inmate, the Borg Queen, left the Barge. It was not, as I had hoped she would, by virtue of graduation. She is the third inmate I have had whose presence aboard this ship has simply ceased. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever see the graduation of another inmate.
Given recent happenings, I've realized that I...miss her. Perhaps more accurately, I miss the opportunity she presented. The Collective was logical, and were she still aboard, I'm afraid I would have endeavored to experience it again. Perhaps it's fortunate that she is no longer here.
[A pause]
I have not been meditating easily, of late. Focusing my mind has been difficult, and my thoughts continue to stray. Another opportunity to save Elizabeth is gone, and Trip has...he has not acted like himself.
[Long pause]
And I have failed to find the source of it. It's nothing our bond can protect against - which means it is possible that whatever has affected him may affect me before this is resolved. [Sssssigh.] I am finding it increasingly difficult to manage without any form of command structure on this ship; there is no one to take charge when things deteriorate.
[Private to Slade]
[Forwarded to a bit after pairings are announced.] My name is T'Pol. I don't believe we've spoken at length before. [Which means she has noooo idea if he's acting cray-cray or not.]

We haven't.

Fair enough.

I will speak with you then.

There's no medical emergency. It's mine fever, simple as that. Humans are exceptionally bad at it, and it can affect anyone.
But I presume you have a list of people who are acting a little more aggressively or apathetically than usual? I would put good money on them all being human, and them all being under undue levels of stress. It's what happens when you're cooped up inside with a lot of other people for a long time. Dwarfs get it, but we have ways of channeling it.
I imagine, if you either encourage these people to go outdoors, or to take their frustrations out on something inanimate in the gym, the whole situation would improve.

I have spent my lifetime living in mines. Which are very confined spaces, where everyone is bristling with weapons, and Dwarfs aren't known for their long tempers, either. So I think I know mine fever when I see it.
[And he knows not about your poor Trip, T'Pol.]

The CES is at the disposal of the wardens here, as is the bar, and the gym. If this was simply a case of living in close quarters, it would have most likely resolved itself.

I wonder, though, how many people who've been acting differently, have had the chance or time to use them? I imagine, if they're stressed, they haven't taken the time to do so.
And it could be something as simple as that.

Is there a physician we know to be unbiased that could help?
