Hopefully, our next port will be calm in comparison. [Vulcans don't say 'I told you so,' but she told you so, guys.] Once things are settled, I will be studying the Barge itself. [Read: The Barge and the Admiral.] I obtained some interesting data while searching for the Admiral that I intend to test.

If anyone is available, it would be prudent to place some manner of guard on the engine room until the codes can be changed.

[T'Pol is angry. She's hiding it pretty well, but anyone close to her can recognize the hard lines in her face. She's pretty much had it with the way things are structured, and that on top of pretty much feeling Trip dying is enough for a brisk little Vulcan rant.]

The hierarchy on this ship is extremely simple: there are wardens, and there are inmates. Wardens bestow privileges on their inmates if they are deserving, and remove them if they are not. This has worked in the past, as far as pairings are concerned, but it is no way for a ship to be run. We are regularly at the Admiral's mercy, but this was not his doing; it was something that could have been avoided. We need a command structure beyond warden, inmate, and Admiral. Had there been a captain to turn to, or a security force, steps could have been taken at the first sign of trouble.

In knowing there are people to turn to during times of crisis, we would avoid panic, and paranoia, and the need to protect those close to us while ignoring the other occupants of this ship.

I highly doubt this would have happened if we had a structured chain of command. Perhaps we should reinstate the security detail. [And click. She is not pleased, Barge.]

Have you slept?

[Private to Kirk]

Are you recovered?

Once, during Enterprise's mission, we encountered a class IV black hole, in a trinary star system. We spent some time exploring it; we did not realize that it gave off a particular kind of radiation. Within two days the rest of the crew began to behave uncharacteristically. [Pointed. Freaking. Look.]

I've been spending some time in the lab, scanning for any possible radiation from spacial anomalies, but I've found nothing thus far. Neither have I found any air contaminants. As we have no actual hierarchy on this ship, [AND SHE DOES NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL] there is little else I can do at this point, save propose that this be treated as a medical emergency. Something is clearly wrong aboard this vessel, and finding its cause before we are surprised with a port where there is a greater risk of uncontrollable 'infection,' should be a necessity.

[Forwarded to a bit after pairings are announced.] My name is T'Pol. I don't believe we've spoken at length before. [Which means she has noooo idea if he's acting cray-cray or not.]

It seems many aboard this ship are predisposed to speeches.

[...Ahaha you didn't think T'Pol was one of them, did you.] I find it ironic that as the Admiral has given us less reason to express our anger towards him, we take it out on one another. Last year, demons boarded this ship and tried to kill us. This year, we were given a quiet port and a flood that, for the most part, did not involve horrors.

It's unfortunate, that we find it necessary to fill the gap of violence.

[Added later:] I would like to observe a feline. Would anyone be willing to lend me theirs?

You have no part in this riot. [It's not a question, because it's pretty much an order, whether she was involved or not.]

It's been brought to my attention that you've been manipulating Judas. This will end, immediately.

[Private to Data]

If I may ask, how did you first encounter the Borg?
