This should prove interesting. If I might ask, what have former ports been like? I would appreciate some foreknowledge, whether they have been similar or not.

Severus, have you had any survival training? I would like to know where we stand.

Lieutenant Reed, are you planning to disembark tomorrow?

Sexby wonders what's wrong with it too. He'd have done the same if he were him.

I am lead to believe that Q brought me back through some sort of power of his. Were you here when Q was?

sexby in canon pretty much = brutus-who-failed

I tried to avoid it at the time, trust me, Commander. I think many people managed to be persuaded they were actually themselves before the end of the port.

he had five loaded pistols, but an unreliable co-conspirator who snitched on him.

I think that depended on where they ended up. I got the lasting impression of drinking, debauchery and excessive violence, from what I found out afterwards.

and cromwell lives and sexby shoots himself. :(

Not particularly, no. But it was Ancient Rome, I don't think it really came with a 'problem-free' option.

brutus of massive fail, this man is. D:

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
It was, indeed. I'm hoping we don't stop at other places in history. That could be... troublesome.

at least he managed his assassination of the master. :D

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
I would dread to land any of you in mine. even if it might give me another chance

totally. never mind, you missed the guy that counted, but the master's a fair replacement.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
I personally would not like to imagine. I think it'd make even my time look calm.

Although I do not think many here would be used to the strict enforced morality of my time.

stabbity stabbity. it's sexby's thing, this assassination bidness.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Aye, and I doubt I could save too many from the hangman.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Aye, probably not. Even so, I cannot imagine many coming out victorious, especially if limited to my time's weaponry.

Personally, now I think about it, I have a horrific image of every woman on board bar my wife, and a proportion of the male population, ending up in the infirmary dead.

unless, of course... I sincerely doubt this will ever happen, though.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
...you have no idea.

In a sense? I believe you come back on the Barge as not to frighten the locals? I don't know exactly. I only killed a man, I didn't die.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
I did mean the Master. I know he made it back to life some how, but the mechanics of it, as opposed to normally, I don't know.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed. I tend to try to avoid death as a precaution anyway.
